Beach season is nearly here, so we decided to take a deep plunge into the Etsy depths and uncover some fabulous sea treasures, handmade by talented artisans right here in the U.S.

As a jewelry designer, I am very impressed by these first two necklaces, which I have been planning to feature for some time now!

Who knew that ginkgo leaves would work so well in a jellyfish pendant? This Jellyfish Pendant Necklace with amazonite, aquamarine, and apatite stones was made by Missouri artisan Laurie Van Mondfrans. As she explains on her Etsy site, “A trip to the St. Louis Aquarium was the inspiration for numerous jellyfish pendant necklaces.” We can’t wait to see the others!
